STORE ATTENDANT (MERCHANDISER)

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 year(s) of working experience is required.
  • Candidates must be at least a high school graduate.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Previous experience in retail, merchandising, or a related field is preferred.
  • Familiarity with the relevant industry, products, and merchandising practices is required or an advantage.
  • Good organizational skills with attention to product presentation and inventory accuracy.
  • Able to work effectively with customers, suppliers, buyers, and retail team members.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor inventory levels, receive product deliveries, and ensure shelves and back-stock areas are properly organized.
  • Arrange products on shelves and create attractive displays based on merchandising and promotional guidelines.
  • Set up promotional materials and signage and ensure products are correctly priced and properly displayed.
  • Monitor sales performance and prepare basic reports to support sales and profitability.
  • Coordinate with buyers, suppliers, and retail staff to ensure products are available at the right time and quantity.
  • Report product shortages, damaged items, pricing issues, and other concerns to management.
  • Assist customers with product inquiries and help resolve complaints or concerns professionally.
