STORE ATTENDANT (MERCHANDISER)
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be at least a high school graduate.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Previous experience in retail, merchandising, or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with the relevant industry, products, and merchandising practices is required or an advantage.
- Good organizational skills with attention to product presentation and inventory accuracy.
- Able to work effectively with customers, suppliers, buyers, and retail team members.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor inventory levels, receive product deliveries, and ensure shelves and back-stock areas are properly organized.
- Arrange products on shelves and create attractive displays based on merchandising and promotional guidelines.
- Set up promotional materials and signage and ensure products are correctly priced and properly displayed.
- Monitor sales performance and prepare basic reports to support sales and profitability.
- Coordinate with buyers, suppliers, and retail staff to ensure products are available at the right time and quantity.
- Report product shortages, damaged items, pricing issues, and other concerns to management.
- Assist customers with product inquiries and help resolve complaints or concerns professionally.
