CAS Recruitment Ltd – Greek Branch is seeking an experienced Machine Maintenance Technician for an overseas employment opportunity in Greece. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and ensuring the reliable operation of machinery used in mattress manufacturing and production.

This Machine Maintenance Technician job in Greece is suitable for candidates with proven experience maintaining and repairing mattress production machinery and familiarity with specialized equipment such as multi-needle quilting machines, mattress tape edge machines, embroidery machines, and industrial sewing machines.

MACHINE MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN (Mattress Manufacturing)

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in the maintenance and repair of mattress production machinery is required.
• Must be familiar with the operation and maintenance of:
  • Multi-Needle Quilting Machine
  • Mattress Tape Edge Machine
  • Embroidery Machine
  • Industrial Sewing Machine
• At least a High School graduate.
• Good understanding of industrial production machinery and maintenance procedures.
• Ability to troubleshoot machine problems and perform repairs.
• Knowledge of preventive and corrective machine maintenance.
• Ability to work with production personnel to resolve equipment issues.
• Strong attention to detail and mechanical problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a production or maintenance team.
• English communication skills are a must.
• Must have a newly renewed passport.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair machinery used in mattress manufacturing.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on mattress production equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical and operational problems affecting production machinery.
• Respond to machine breakdowns and perform appropriate repairs to minimize production downtime.
• Monitor machinery performance and identify potential problems before equipment failure occurs.
• Maintain and service multi-needle quilting machines.
• Maintain and troubleshoot mattress tape edge machines.
• Inspect and maintain embroidery machines.
• Service and maintain industrial sewing machines.
• Adjust machine settings and components to ensure proper operation.
• Replace worn, damaged, or defective machine parts when required.
• Test machines following maintenance and repair work to ensure proper operation.
• Assist production personnel with machine-related technical problems.
• Keep maintenance tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe maintenance area.
• Follow company maintenance procedures and workplace safety requirements.
• Report major equipment problems and maintenance requirements to the supervisor.
• Maintain appropriate records of repairs and maintenance activities.
• Perform other machine maintenance duties assigned by management.

Salary Package:

• Salary starts at € 1,300 gross monthly.
• Forty-two (48) working hours/ Five (5) days a week.
• Accommodation will be provided.
• Contract duration is for 1 year.
