Fone Haus Limited, Papua New Guinea’s leading retailer and distributor of mobile phones and accessories, is seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to oversee the company’s end-to-end logistics and supply chain operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing inventory movement, warehousing, transportation, distribution, and logistics planning to ensure products are delivered efficiently to retail stores while maintaining cost-effective operations and high service standards.

Qualifications:

• Filipino applicants only.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of work experience in the position being applied for with a reputable company.
• Proven experience in logistics, warehousing, inventory management, transportation, and supply chain operations.
• Strong knowledge of inventory control systems, warehouse operations, shipping processes, and distribution management.
• Experience using warehouse management systems (WMS), enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, or logistics software is an advantage.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, planning, and decision-making skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to coordinate across multiple departments.
• Must possess a passport valid for at least two (2) years.

Responsibilities: 

• Plan, organize, and manage daily logistics, warehousing, transportation, and distribution operations.
• Develop and implement logistics strategies to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and optimize delivery performance.
• Oversee inventory movement from suppliers to warehouses and retail stores while ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams to maintain adequate stock availability.
• Manage relationships with freight forwarders, shipping companies, customs brokers, and other logistics service providers.
• Ensure compliance with import/export regulations, shipping documentation, customs requirements, and company policies.
• Monitor logistics performance through key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare operational reports for senior management.
• Lead, supervise, and develop warehouse and logistics personnel to achieve operational excellence.
• Coordinate with sales, procurement, retail operations, and finance departments to support business requirements.
• Implement inventory control measures to minimize stock losses, damages, and discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with workplace health, safety, and security standards across logistics operations.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in supply chain processes, warehouse management, and transportation efficiency.
• Perform other logistics and supply chain management duties assigned by senior management.
