LOCKSMITH/LOCKSMITH ASSISTANT

Qualifications:

• Age: 23–38 years old
• At least a High School Graduate
• Minimum of one (1) year of related local work experience
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English
• Physically fit with good endurance and precise work habits
• Experience in handling metal and welding tools
• Familiarity with measuring tools (e.g., calipers)
• Ability to interpret technical drawings
• No valid Certificate of Employment (COE) from 2021 onwards and no assessment required (as specified)

Responsibilities:

• Install, repair, and maintain various types of locks and locking systems
• Assist in fabrication and adjustment of metal components related to locking mechanisms
• Use measuring tools such as calipers to ensure precision in work
• Interpret and follow technical drawings and work instructions
• Handle metalworking and welding tools as required for fabrication and repair tasks
• Ensure accuracy, safety, and quality in all locksmithing operations
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
