CAREGIVER/NURSE AIDE
Qualifications:
- Certified Caregiver, Nurse Aide, CNA, or equivalent healthcare assistant qualification.
- Minimum of 2 years of related experience in hospital, rehabilitation, long-term care, or home healthcare settings.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary nursing team.
- Compassionate, patient, and physically fit for caregiving duties.
- Basic understanding of patient care procedures and hygiene standards.
- Willingness to work shifting schedules in a healthcare environment
Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, feeding, dressing, and mobility support.
- Monitor patient condition and report changes to nursing staff.
- Support nurses in providing basic patient care and rehabilitation assistance.
- Ensure patient comfort, safety, and hygiene at all times.
- Assist in transferring and positioning patients safely.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of patient rooms and care areas.
- Follow infection control and hospital safety protocols strictly.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients when needed.
- Record basic patient observations as required.
- Assist in implementing care plans under supervision of nursing staff.
