CAREGIVER/NURSE AIDE

Qualifications:

  • Certified Caregiver, Nurse Aide, CNA, or equivalent healthcare assistant qualification.
  • Minimum of 2 years of related experience in hospital, rehabilitation, long-term care, or home healthcare settings.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary nursing team.
  • Compassionate, patient, and physically fit for caregiving duties.
  • Basic understanding of patient care procedures and hygiene standards.
  • Willingness to work shifting schedules in a healthcare environment

Responsibilities:

  • Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, feeding, dressing, and mobility support.
  • Monitor patient condition and report changes to nursing staff.
  • Support nurses in providing basic patient care and rehabilitation assistance.
  • Ensure patient comfort, safety, and hygiene at all times.
  • Assist in transferring and positioning patients safely.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of patient rooms and care areas.
  • Follow infection control and hospital safety protocols strictly.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to patients when needed.
  • Record basic patient observations as required.
  • Assist in implementing care plans under supervision of nursing staff.
