Janitorial Cleaner

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Ability to demonstrate leadership abilities in cleaning and janitorial operations.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
  With driving experience.
• Ability to operate and properly care for common cleaning tools and equipment.
• Knowledge of proper cleaning, sanitation, and workplace hygiene procedures.
• Physically fit and capable of performing repetitive cleaning tasks, including standing, bending, walking, and lifting.
• Able to follow instructions, cleaning schedules, and safety procedures.
• Responsible, hardworking, reliable, and disciplined.
• Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain assigned buildings, facilities, offices, common areas, and other designated spaces.
• Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing.
• Clean and maintain floors, walls, windows, furniture, fixtures, and other surfaces.
• Clean and disinfect restrooms, washrooms, kitchens, and other sanitation areas.
• Collect, segregate, and properly dispose of waste and rubbish.
• Replenish cleaning supplies, toiletries, and other janitorial materials as required.
• Use cleaning chemicals, tools, and equipment safely and correctly.
• Inspect assigned areas to ensure high standards of cleanliness and sanitation are consistently maintained.
• Pay close attention to detail when cleaning and identifying areas requiring additional attention.
• Report maintenance issues, damaged facilities, safety hazards, or other concerns to the supervisor.
• Maintain proper organization and cleanliness of janitorial storage areas and equipment.
• Ensure cleaning equipment and tools are properly maintained and stored after use.
• Follow established cleaning schedules, procedures, and workplace safety requirements.
• Assist in coordinating and monitoring cleaning activities when assigned leadership responsibilities.
• Guide or assist other cleaning personnel in completing assigned tasks when required.
• Help ensure that cleaning duties are completed efficiently and according to required standards.
• Maintain a professional and respectful attitude when working in occupied facilities.
• Perform other janitorial and cleaning duties assigned by management.
