Trends Beauty International is seeking an experienced IT Manager to oversee and manage the company’s IT infrastructure, systems, and technology operations across multiple business units in Papua New Guinea. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and continuous improvement of IT services, while leading the IT team, managing projects, and supporting business operations through effective technology solutions.
IT MANAGER
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of working experience in IT management or related roles.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in:
- IT infrastructure management
- Network administration
- Server management
- Hardware and software troubleshooting
- Cybersecurity
- CCTV installation, configuration, maintenance, and monitoring
- Familiarity with:
- Windows Server
- Active Directory
- Microsoft 365
- ERP systems
- Cloud services
- Backup and disaster recovery solutions
- Network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls
- Proven leadership and project management skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to coordinate with internal teams and external vendors.
- Ability to manage IT operations and support business continuity.
- Willingness to work overseas and adapt to a fast-paced, multi-company environment.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and maintain the company’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, hardware, software, and cybersecurity systems.
- Manage the installation, configuration, maintenance, and monitoring of IT systems and services.
- Install, configure, and maintain CCTV systems, access control systems, and other security technologies.
- Ensure the operational security and reliability of technology infrastructure across multiple business units.
- Lead, supervise, and provide technical guidance to the IT team.
- Provide technical support and resolve hardware, software, network, and system-related issues.
- Manage IT projects, system upgrades, and technology improvement initiatives.
- Ensure proper implementation of cybersecurity measures, data protection, and access controls.
- Manage backup systems, disaster recovery procedures, and business continuity plans.
- Oversee vendor coordination, IT procurement, and third-party technical services.
- Support and maintain enterprise systems, including ERP and cloud-based solutions.
- Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the employer.
