Injection Mold Toolmaker / Assembler

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of professional work experience.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
• Experience as an Injection Molding Machine Operator or in a similar manufacturing position is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of injection molding production processes is preferred.
• Ability to inspect finished products and identify quality defects.
• Basic understanding of mold assembly, fitting, adjustment, and inspection is an advantage.
• Ability to use basic hand tools and manufacturing equipment safely and correctly.
• Physically capable of performing repetitive production, assembly, and material-handling tasks.
• Able to follow production instructions, technical specifications, quality standards, and workplace safety procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
• Responsible, hardworking, reliable, and disciplined.
• Able to work effectively as part of a manufacturing and production team.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Willing to work continuous shift operations, including 12-hour shifts with day/night rotation.
• Physically fit and capable of working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assemble, disassemble, adjust, and inspect injection molds and mold components according to technical instructions.
• Prepare mold components, tools, and materials required for assembly and production activities.
• Perform fitting, alignment, adjustment, and finishing of mold components to ensure proper operation.
• Inspect molds for wear, damage, defects, and dimensional accuracy.
• Assist with the installation, setup, and removal of injection molds from production equipment.
• Check finished molded products and identify defects such as deformation, flash, short shots, surface imperfections, or dimensional issues.
• Work closely with injection molding machine operators and production personnel to resolve mold- or process-related problems.
• Support troubleshooting of injection molding production issues and report technical concerns to supervisors or maintenance personnel.
• Perform basic cleaning, lubrication, adjustment, and preventive maintenance of molds and related tools.
• Use hand tools, measuring instruments, workshop equipment, and other tools safely and correctly.
• Follow technical drawings, work instructions, production specifications, and quality requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, adjustments, repairs, and production-related activities when required.
• Ensure molds and components are properly stored, identified, protected, and maintained when not in use.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures and properly use required personal protective equipment.
• Perform repetitive production, assembly, and material-handling tasks as required.
• Coordinate with production, quality control, maintenance, and engineering teams to support smooth manufacturing operations.
• Report defective components, equipment problems, production abnormalities, and safety hazards promptly.
• Assist with continuous improvement activities aimed at improving mold performance, product quality, and production efficiency.
• Perform other toolmaking, mold assembly, production, and manufacturing duties assigned by management.
