Industrial Fitter / Welder
Qualifications:
- Vocational Degree in Welding, Mechanical Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of welding experience, particularly in heavy steel fabrication and structural welding.
- TESDA NC II in Welding is required.
- Ability to read, interpret, and understand technical drawings, welding symbols, and fabrication plans.
- Experience in at least one of the following welding processes:
- E-hand / GMAW / FCAW
- MIG / MAG
- WIG / TIG
- Strong knowledge of welding procedures, materials, and safety practices.
- Experience working with heavy steel structures, plates, beams, and fabricated components.
- Ability to inspect weld quality and perform corrective actions when necessary.
- Physically fit and capable of working in industrial or fabrication environments.
- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
- Perform assembly and welding work in container and pipeline construction.
- Mechanically process metal parts (e.g., sawing, grinding, cutting).
- Join metal parts using appropriate welding processes.
- Follow technical drawings, welding, and construction plans to connect components optimally.
- Inspect all seams to ensure they meet high standards of quality and stability.
