INDUSTRIAL ELECTRICIAN

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of working experience is required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Technology or other related technical Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Experience in the installation, connection, and maintenance of electrotechnical products and systems.
  • Knowledge of switching and distribution facilities, control cabinets, motors, and similar electrical systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and regulations.
  • Experience in assembly, installation, protection, and adjustment of electrical products and systems.
  • Good troubleshooting and technical problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to coordinate work with different departments.
  • No minimum educational attainment is required for this position aside from the stated degree requirement.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare worksites prior to installation and maintenance activities.
  • Perform scheduled maintenance activities on electrical systems and equipment.
  • Maintain machinery log books and maintenance records.
  • Determine and install appropriate routing for wiring and cabling systems.
  • Perform earthing and grounding of electrotechnical products and systems.
  • Set and configure parameters that form part of electrotechnical products and systems.
  • Coordinate and align work activities with various departments.
  • Install, connect, assemble, and maintain electrotechnical products and systems.
  • Inspect and adjust electrical systems to ensure proper functionality and compliance.
  • Work on switching and distribution facilities, control cabinets, motors, and related equipment.
  • Follow technical drawings, specifications, and safety regulations during all work activities.
  • Ensure reliable and efficient operation of electrical systems and equipment.
