Handover Manager

Qualifications:

• Male applicants are preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience in Oil & Gas Engineering Construction.
• Proven experience managing project completion, mechanical completion, commissioning support, and system handover activities.
• Strong knowledge of system punch-list management, turnover documentation, and project completion processes.
• Experience using Handover Completion System (HCS), ToXP, or similar handover management software.
• Familiarity with commissioning procedures, mechanical acceptance, and project close-out requirements.
• Strong understanding of HSE requirements, quality management systems, and regulatory compliance standards.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary engineering, construction, commissioning, and client teams.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the project handover and system turnover process from construction through commissioning to final client acceptance.
• Develop and implement project handover strategies, schedules, and turnover plans.
• Manage system turnover databases using Handover Completion System (HCS), ToXP, or similar completion management software.
• Coordinate mechanical completion activities and ensure systems are ready for pre-commissioning and commissioning.
• Monitor and manage system punch lists, ensuring timely completion and close-out of outstanding items.
• Prepare, review, and maintain turnover dossiers, quality documentation, test records, certificates, and project handover packages.
• Coordinate closely with engineering, construction, QA/QC, commissioning, operations, and client representatives to ensure smooth project transition.
• Verify that all project documentation complies with contractual requirements, engineering standards, and regulatory guidelines.
• Track project completion status and provide regular progress reports to management and clients.
• Facilitate system walkdowns, inspections, acceptance testing, and final handover meetings.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Environment (HSE), quality management systems, and company procedures.
• Identify project risks affecting handover activities and recommend corrective actions.
• Perform other project completion and turnover management duties assigned by senior management.
