Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience as a Gypsum Plasterer, Plasterer, Plasterboard Installer, or in a similar construction position.
- Must be at least a high school graduate.
- Must provide valid proof of employment, such as Certificate of Employment (COE), payslips, employment contract, and company ID.
- Local workers must provide SSS records and/or BIR Form 2316 as proof of employment.
- Must have good English communication skills.
- IELTS or PTE certification is required.
- Must have practical knowledge of plasterboard installation, plastering, rendering, surface finishing, and installation of plaster fittings.
- Must be physically capable of performing construction work, including lifting and positioning plasterboard panels.
Responsibilities:
- Measure, mark, and cut plasterboard accurately according to construction plans and site requirements.
- Lift, position, and secure plasterboard panels to walls, ceilings, and battens.
- Prepare and install corner beads, ensuring they are properly aligned and securely positioned.
- Fix pre-cast cornices, panel mouldings, ceiling centres, and other plaster fittings.
- Cover joints and nail holes with wet plaster and sealing compounds, then smooth and finish surfaces using wet brushes and sandpaper.
- Mix and apply plaster, cement, and render to walls, ceilings, and other structures using trowels.
- Level and smooth plaster, cement, and render coats to achieve a consistent and uniform thickness.
- Create decorative textures and finishes according to project specifications.
- Apply and finish acoustic, insulating, and fireproofing materials bonded with plaster, plastic cement, and similar materials.
- Inspect completed work to ensure surfaces are properly finished and meet required quality and construction standards.
- Follow workplace safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.
