GENERAL BUILDING ELECTRICIAN

Qualifications:

• Minimum of relevant experience as a Building Electrician in residential, commercial, or institutional facilities.
• Strong knowledge of electrical installation, maintenance, and repair works in building systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical faults in lighting, power distribution, and control systems.
• Experience in installing wiring, conduits, panels, switches, circuit breakers, and outlets.
• Knowledge of electrical safety standards and building code compliance.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Experience in preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance of building electrical systems.
  Physically fit and capable of working in maintenance and construction environments.
• Good communication and ability to work with a team or independently.
• Basic documentation skills for reporting maintenance activities.

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in buildings and facilities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical faults and system failures.
• Perform wiring, rewiring, and installation of electrical components and fixtures.
• Maintain lighting systems, power outlets, distribution boards, and control panels.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance checks.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and electrical standards.
• Respond to electrical emergencies and breakdowns promptly.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams and supervisors for repair works.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in safe and working condition.
• Document maintenance work, repairs, and inspection reports as required.
