FORKLIFT TELEHANDLER MECHANIC

Qualifications:

Must have at least 5 years of continuous work experience as a Forklift / Telehandler Mechanic
At least 1 year of college education or completion of a 1-year vocational course
Preferably with experience in repairing telehandlers, scissor lifts, and electric forklifts
Strong knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems
Ability to interpret OEM manuals, wiring diagrams, and technical schematics

Responsibilities:

Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic faults in equipment
Repair hydraulic systems including pumps, cylinders, motors, valves, and hoses
Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems (12V/24V/48V), controllers, and wiring
Repair or replace components such as drive systems, slew rings, and outriggers
Interpret OEM manuals and technical diagrams for accurate repairs
Conduct preventive maintenance and ensure equipment reliability
Ensure all repairs comply with safety and operational standards
Maintain accurate service and repair documentation
