Finance (Reporting, VAT & Insurance, Treasury)
Qualifications:
- Degree or relevant qualification in Finance, Accountancy, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Relevant experience in financial reporting, VAT, treasury, insurance, accounting, or corporate finance is an advantage.
- Knowledge of financial reporting and accounting principles.
- Familiarity with VAT compliance and tax documentation.
- Understanding of treasury operations, cash management, and banking transactions.
- Good analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel, is an advantage.
- Familiarity with accounting or enterprise financial systems is preferred.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a finance team.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial reports and financial schedules.
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting activities.
- Monitor financial transactions and ensure proper recording and classification.
- Support VAT compliance, including preparation and review of VAT-related records and documentation.
- Assist in preparing information required for VAT returns and tax reporting.
- Maintain accurate records of VAT transactions, supporting documents, and related financial information.
- Coordinate with internal departments regarding VAT and other finance-related requirements.
- Assist with the administration and monitoring of company insurance policies and related financial transactions.
- Monitor insurance premiums, payments, renewals, claims-related documentation, and other financial records.
- Support treasury operations, including cash flow monitoring, bank transactions, and payment processing.
- Monitor cash balances and assist in maintaining sufficient funds for operational requirements.
- Prepare bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies when necessary.
- Assist with payment processing and ensure transactions are properly authorized and documented.
- Monitor accounts payable and other financial obligations as assigned.
- Maintain organized and accurate finance records and supporting documents.
- Assist with internal and external audits by providing requested financial information and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with company finance policies, accounting procedures, and applicable regulations.
- Prepare financial analysis and reports for management when required.
- Perform other finance and accounting duties assigned by management.
