ARAS Recruitment Agency Pty Ltd is seeking qualified and experienced Fibrous Plasterers for an overseas work opportunity in Australia. The successful candidate will install and finish plasterboard, suspended ceilings, decorative plasterwork, fire-rated systems, acoustic materials, and other wall and ceiling finishes.

Fibrous Plasterer

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree or completion of a four-year undergraduate course.
• Proven experience as a Fibrous Plasterer, Plasterer, or related construction professional.
• Experience installing plasterboard, ceilings, wall linings, cornices, mouldings, and decorative plasterwork.
  Knowledge of plaster, cement, fireproofing, insulation, and acoustic materials.
• Good understanding of construction methods and finishing techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality finishes.
• Physically fit and capable of performing construction work.
• Able to work effectively as part of a construction team.
• Must be willing to take IELTS.

Responsibilities:

• Apply and install plasterboard partitions, suspended ceilings, fire-rated systems, acoustic tiles, and composite wall linings.
• Apply decorative and protective plaster, cement, and similar materials to interior and exterior surfaces.
• Measure, cut, position, and securely fix plasterboard and other wall and ceiling materials.
• Install pre-cast cornices, panel mouldings, ceiling centres, and other plaster fittings.
• Create decorative textures and patterns in finishing coats.
• Apply and finish insulating and fireproofing materials bonded with plaster, plastic cement, and similar products.
• Prepare surfaces before plastering, including cleaning, leveling, and ensuring proper adhesion.
• Mix and apply plaster, cement, and finishing materials according to specifications.
• Repair cracks, damaged plasterboard, ceilings, and other plaster surfaces.
• Ensure finished surfaces are smooth, even, properly aligned, and meet required quality standards.
• Follow construction plans, drawings, measurements, and project specifications.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and plastering equipment safely and correctly.
  Follow workplace health and safety requirements and maintain a clean work area.
• Coordinate with other construction trades to ensure efficient project completion.
• Perform other plastering and finishing duties as assigned.
