Universal Cold Store Company is seeking a qualified Feed Ingredients and Veterinary Supplies Procurement Officer to manage the sourcing, purchasing, and inventory of feed ingredients, veterinary medicines, vaccines, nutritional supplements, and related agricultural supplies. The successful candidate will ensure timely procurement while maintaining product quality, cost efficiency, and compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Feed Ingredients and Veterinary Supplies Procurement Officer

Qualifications:

• Male applicants only.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, or agricultural sourcing.
• Technical knowledge and practical experience related to feed ingredients, veterinary supplies, or agricultural procurement.
• Familiarity with poultry production, feed mills, hatcheries, processing plants, or agricultural operations is preferred.
• Knowledge of procurement procedures, inventory management, supplier evaluation, and purchasing documentation.
• Good negotiation, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Proficient in preparing purchase orders, inventory reports, and procurement records.
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of working effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities:

• Source and procure feed ingredients, veterinary medicines, vaccines, nutritional supplements, chemicals, and other farm supplies from approved suppliers.
• Coordinate purchasing activities to ensure uninterrupted availability of materials for poultry production, hatchery, feed mill, and processing plant operations.
• Request quotations, evaluate supplier offers, negotiate prices, and prepare purchase orders.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse and production teams to maintain adequate stock while avoiding shortages or overstocking.
• Verify product quality, specifications, expiration dates, and regulatory compliance before accepting deliveries.
• Coordinate with suppliers regarding delivery schedules, order status, product availability, and shipment documentation.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier databases, purchase histories, and inventory reports.
• Monitor procurement costs and recommend cost-saving opportunities without compromising product quality.
• Ensure purchased veterinary products comply with applicable regulations and company quality standards.
• Support internal and external audits by maintaining complete procurement documentation.
• Follow company procurement policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), workplace safety regulations, and ethical purchasing practices.
• Perform other procurement and supply chain duties assigned by management.
