Facilities Management

Qualifications:

  • Male & Female.
  • At least 4 years of experience in the maintenance field in a similar industry.
  • Experience in preventive maintenance and project management.
  • Strong team supervision and management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple maintenance requirements.
  • Advanced technical knowledge of repair and preventive maintenance work.
  • Knowledge and practical understanding of MEP systems.
  • Able to speak and write in English; Arabic language skills are preferably an advantage.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate effectively with different teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong team management and relationship-building skills.
  • Sound analytical thinking and ability to evaluate technical and operational problems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify practical maintenance solutions.
  • Professional, ethical, responsible, and committed to maintaining high workplace standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee day-to-day facilities maintenance and operational activities.
  • Manage preventive maintenance programs for building facilities, equipment, and technical systems.
  • Supervise corrective and reactive maintenance activities and ensure issues are resolved efficiently.
  • Monitor maintenance schedules, work orders, service requests, and completion of assigned tasks.
  • Oversee maintenance activities involving MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems.
  • Coordinate the inspection, maintenance, repair, and operation of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and other building systems.
  • Identify recurring equipment problems and develop appropriate corrective and preventive maintenance solutions.
  • Supervise maintenance teams, assign tasks, monitor performance, and ensure work is completed according to established standards.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to maintenance personnel when handling complex repair and maintenance requirements.
  • Monitor contractors, service providers, and vendors involved in facilities maintenance and project activities.
  • Assist with vendor selection, service coordination, contract requirements, and monitoring of contractor performance.
  • Plan and coordinate facilities-related projects, including renovation, expansion, equipment upgrades, and improvement works.
  • Monitor project progress, schedules, resources, quality, and completion requirements.
  • Ensure maintenance activities and facilities projects are carried out safely and in accordance with applicable company procedures and standards.
  • Support the implementation of energy management and sustainability initiatives to improve operational efficiency.
  • Monitor energy consumption and identify opportunities for energy savings and improved facility performance.
  • Utilize maintenance data and reports to identify trends, anticipate potential breakdowns, and optimize preventive maintenance schedules.
  • Work with Building Management Systems (BMS), HVAC automation, IoT-based maintenance monitoring, and other advanced facilities technologies when applicable.
  • Prepare and maintain maintenance reports, records, schedules, work orders, and other facilities documentation.
  • Use MS Office and other appropriate tools for reporting, scheduling, analysis, and administrative activities.
  • Analyze maintenance problems and develop practical solutions to minimize downtime and operational disruptions.
  • Communicate effectively with management, maintenance personnel, contractors, vendors, and other stakeholders.
  • Maintain professional relationships and promote effective teamwork across different departments and work groups.
  • Ensure facilities and maintenance operations remain responsive during periods of high workload and operational pressure.
  • Support safety, compliance, quality, and risk-management initiatives within the facilities operation.
  • Perform other facilities management, maintenance, and project-related duties assigned by management.
