Thompson23 is seeking an experienced Executive Chef to oversee food preparation and kitchen operations in a staff canteen, factory, hotel, or restaurant environment. The successful candidate should have at least 3 years of relevant experience, strong culinary skills, good English communication abilities, and experience preparing meals for large groups of approximately 80–150 people.

Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
- Previous experience working with an Executive Chef or Chef in any of the following Staff canteen, Factory, Hotel, Restaurant
- Experience preparing food for approximately 80–150 persons.
- Strong knowledge of professional cooking and food preparation.
- Ability to manage high-volume food production.
- Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation practices.
- Good leadership and kitchen management skills.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to supervise and coordinate kitchen staff.
- Strong attention to food quality, taste, presentation, and portion control.
- Good English communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a busy kitchen environment.
- Physically fit and capable of working extended hours when required.
- Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily kitchen and food preparation operations.
- Plan, organize, and supervise food preparation and cooking activities.
- Prepare and oversee the preparation of high-quality main dishes, snacks, and other menu items.
- Ensure food is prepared according to recipes, quality standards, and production requirements.
- Manage food preparation for large-volume operations serving approximately 80–150 persons.
- Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff to ensure efficient food production and service.
- Assign duties and monitor the performance of kitchen personnel.
- Train and guide kitchen staff on food preparation, cooking techniques, hygiene, and safety procedures.
- Monitor food quality, taste, presentation, portion sizes, and consistency.
- Plan daily menus and coordinate food production based on operational requirements.
- Monitor food inventory and ensure adequate supplies of ingredients are available.
- Check the quality and freshness of food ingredients.
- Minimize food waste through effective portion control and inventory management.
- Ensure proper food storage, labeling, stock rotation, and handling procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen, equipment, utensils, and work areas.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
- Coordinate with management regarding kitchen requirements, staffing, supplies, and operational concerns.
- Monitor kitchen equipment and report maintenance or repair requirements.
- Handle food quality concerns and assist in resolving operational issues.
- Ensure meals are prepared and served according to scheduled times.
- Maintain high standards of professionalism and teamwork within the kitchen.
- Perform other duties assigned by management.
