Electrician

Qualifications:

• Male applicants, 24–45 years old.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience as an Electrician.
• Practical experience in electrical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
• Knowledge of electrical wiring, circuits, cables, switches, outlets, lighting systems, and electrical equipment.
• Ability to read and understand basic electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, layouts, and technical instructions.
• Competent in the safe use of electrical hand tools, power tools, testing meters, and related equipment.
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot common electrical faults and perform appropriate repairs.
• Good understanding of electrical safety and workplace health and safety procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safe and quality workmanship.
• Physically fit and capable of performing hands-on electrical work in various construction and worksite conditions.
• Reliable, hardworking, responsible, and able to work effectively independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
• Install electrical cables, conduits, switches, outlets, lighting fixtures, circuit breakers, and related components.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, layouts, and technical specifications.
• Perform electrical installations according to project plans, specifications, and applicable procedures.
• Inspect electrical systems and identify faults, damaged components, loose connections, and other electrical problems.
• Conduct electrical testing using appropriate meters, testers, and diagnostic equipment.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems and equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical circuits, wiring, switches, motors, lighting systems, and other electrical components.
• Repair or replace defective electrical components, cables, fixtures, switches, outlets, and other equipment.
• Test completed installations and repairs to ensure proper operation and electrical safety.
• Install and maintain lighting, power distribution, and other electrical systems as assigned.
• Properly terminate, connect, insulate, and secure electrical wires and cables.
• Use hand tools, power tools, testing instruments, and electrical equipment safely and correctly.
• Follow technical instructions, work schedules, and project specifications.
• Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, plumbers, carpenters, HVAC technicians, and other construction personnel.
• Maintain accurate records of electrical inspections, maintenance, repairs, and work completed where required.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
• Properly handle electrical tools, materials, cables, equipment, and supplies.
• Follow electrical safety procedures, lockout/tagout requirements where applicable, and workplace health and safety regulations.
• Properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Report electrical faults, equipment damage, material shortages, and unsafe conditions to supervisors.
• Perform other electrical installation, maintenance, repair, and construction duties as assigned.
