DRAFTSMAN

Qualifications:

• Male applicants are preferred for this role.
• Minimum of 5 years working experience as a Draftsman in construction, engineering, or industrial projects.
• Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s / College Degree in Engineering (Others) or similar fields.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and other drafting or design software.
• Knowledgeable in preparing technical drawings, layouts, and construction plans.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Familiar with construction standards, drafting procedures, and technical documentation.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of an engineering or project team.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed technical drawings, layouts, and plans for engineering and construction projects.
• Create and revise drawings based on project requirements, site conditions, and engineer instructions.
• Interpret engineering sketches, specifications, and blueprints accurately.
• Ensure all drawings comply with company standards, project specifications, and safety requirements.
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, supervisors, and project teams regarding design updates and technical details.
• Maintain organized records of drawings, revisions, and project documentation.
• Assist in preparing as-built drawings and project reports when required.
• Perform quality checks on drawings to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Support project planning, fabrication, and installation teams with technical drafting requirements.
• Maintain confidentiality and proper handling of technical and engineering documents.

• E‑Registration Printout (DMW eReg) – A printed copy of your DMW online profile/E‑Registration; a key document used to verify your information with job orders.
