KB Company Sdn. Bhd. is seeking dedicated and hardworking BOH / Kitchen Helpers to support daily kitchen operations in Brunei. The successful candidates will assist in food preparation, maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, and ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards while working closely with the kitchen team in a fast-paced environment.

BOH/KITCHEN HELPER

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience as a Kitchen Helper, Kitchen Assistant, or in a similar food service role.
• Must possess a Vocational Diploma or Short Course Certificate in Food and Beverage Preparation/Service Management or a related field.
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen operations, and food safety standards.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Team player with good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physically fit and capable of standing for extended periods while performing kitchen duties.
• Willing to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
• Willing to relocate and work in Brunei.
• Must have a valid passport and be able to meet Brunei’s employment and work permit requirements.
• Relevant culinary training or certification is an advantage.
• Proficiency in English is preferred; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare ingredients for cooking by washing, peeling, cutting, and measuring food items.
• Assist cooks and chefs with food preparation and other kitchen duties.
• Organize, replenish, and properly store kitchen supplies and ingredients.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of food preparation areas, kitchen equipment, and workstations.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety standards at all times.
• Assist in receiving, checking, and storing deliveries according to company procedures.
• Dispose of waste properly and help maintain an organized kitchen environment.
• Perform other kitchen-related tasks as assigned by supervisors.
