Global Skilled Employment Services is seeking experienced Cow Breeders to work in commercial dairy farm operations in Australia. The successful candidates will be responsible for managing breeding activities, maintaining herd health, and supporting overall dairy production efficiency.

COW BREEDER

Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of recent and relevant work experience in dairy farming
• Proven experience working as a dairy worker in a commercial farm
• Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Animal Science, Animal Husbandry, or Veterinary Medicine
• Strong knowledge of cattle breeding and herd management practices
• Understanding of animal health, nutrition, and reproduction
• Ability to work in a physically demanding farm environment
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Good record-keeping and observation skills
• Commitment to animal welfare and farm safety standards

Responsibilities:

• Manage and implement cattle breeding programs to improve herd quality and productivity
• Monitor animal health, reproduction cycles, and overall herd performance
• Assist in calving, feeding, and general care of livestock
• Maintain accurate records of breeding, health, and production data
• Ensure proper nutrition and welfare of cattle
• Work closely with farm management to meet production targets
• Follow farm safety, biosecurity, and animal welfare standards
