Harbour City Ceilings is seeking an experienced Fibrous Plasterer for deployment to New Zealand. The role focuses on suspended ceilings, drywall systems, partitions, and specialized interior construction works including Korok wall systems for fire-rated, acoustic, and waterproofing applications.
FIBROUS PLASTERER
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years verifiable experience as a Fibrous Plasterer.
- Skilled in carpentry and interior fit-out works.
- Experience in suspended ceilings, drywall, partitions, or interior construction is an advantage.
- Competent in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Experience installing Korok wall systems, including:
- Fire-rated partitions
- Acoustic insulation systems
- Waterproofing applications
- Must hold a valid driver’s licence (Code A, A1, B, B1, B2).
- Willing to take IELTS or PTE (minimum IELTS band 4.0 / PTE score 29).
- Physically fit and able to work in construction environments.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical specifications.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a construction team.
Responsibilities:
- Install fibrous plastering systems including suspended ceilings and drywall partitions.
- Perform interior fit-out works according to construction drawings and specifications.
- Install Korok wall systems for fire-rated, acoustic, and waterproofing applications.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely for cutting, fixing, and finishing materials.
- Ensure all work meets New Zealand building standards and project requirements.
- Collaborate with carpentry and construction teams to complete fit-out projects.
- Maintain safe and clean working environments on site.
- Follow workplace safety procedures and construction best practices.
- Assist in completing high-quality interior finishes within project deadlines.
