Qualifications:
- Male or Female applicants, 25–42 years old.
- Minimum of 5 years solid carpentry experience.
- Strong experience in framing, lock-up, cladding, fix-out, decks, and pergolas.
- Fully qualified carpenter with ability to progress into a Leading Hand role.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting construction plans and drawings.
- Ability to set out and execute construction projects accurately.
- Good English communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Physically fit and capable of performing manual construction work.
- Strong attention to detail, craftsmanship, and workplace safety awareness.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a construction team.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out carpentry works including framing, structural assembly, and finishing works.
- Install cladding, decking, pergolas, and other timber structures.
- Perform lock-up and fix-out carpentry tasks according to project specifications.
- Read and interpret construction plans and execute accurate site set-out.
- Ensure all work is completed to Australian building standards and quality requirements.
- Collaborate with site supervisors and construction teams for project completion.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and safe working environment at all times.
- Assist in mentoring junior workers when required and support Leading Hand duties.
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations and building codes.
- Deliver high-quality workmanship with attention to detail and efficiency.
