Carpenter

Qualifications:

• Male or Female applicants, 25–42 years old.
• Minimum of 5 years solid carpentry experience.
• Strong experience in framing, lock-up, cladding, fix-out, decks, and pergolas.
• Fully qualified carpenter with ability to progress into a Leading Hand role.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting construction plans and drawings.
• Ability to set out and execute construction projects accurately.
• Good English communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Physically fit and capable of performing manual construction work.
• Strong attention to detail, craftsmanship, and workplace safety awareness.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a construction team.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out carpentry works including framing, structural assembly, and finishing works.
• Install cladding, decking, pergolas, and other timber structures.
• Perform lock-up and fix-out carpentry tasks according to project specifications.
• Read and interpret construction plans and execute accurate site set-out.
• Ensure all work is completed to Australian building standards and quality requirements.
• Collaborate with site supervisors and construction teams for project completion.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and safe working environment at all times.
• Assist in mentoring junior workers when required and support Leading Hand duties.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations and building codes.
• Deliver high-quality workmanship with attention to detail and efficiency.
