STRUCTURAL ENGINEER

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering.
• Professional Engineer license preferred; Structural Engineer (SE) license is highly desirable.
• Minimum 4–10 years of experience in structural engineering with significant exposure to multifamily, mixed-use, or hospitality projects.
• Strong understanding of concrete, steel, wood-frame, podium, and post-tension structural systems.
• Experience with hotel brands, multifamily developments, and large-scale commercial construction projects preferred.
• Proficiency in structural analysis and design software.
• Knowledge of building permitting processes and code compliance requirements.
• Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and coordination abilities.

Responsibilities:

• Design and analyze structural systems for residential, commercial, hospitality, and mixed-use developments.
• Prepare structural calculations, technical reports, and engineering documentation.
• Review and coordinate architectural and engineering drawings.
• Ensure compliance with applicable building codes, regulations, and project requirements.
• Evaluate concrete, steel, wood-frame, podium, and post-tension structural systems.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders.
• Support permitting, approvals, and regulatory compliance activities.
• Conduct site inspections and provide technical support during construction.
• Identify and resolve structural design and construction issues.
• Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to quality standards.
