CLEANER

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience.
  • High School Graduate.
  • With TESDA Housekeeping NC II or Trade Test Certificate.
  • Knowledge of proper cleaning methods, sanitation procedures, and safe handling of cleaning products.
  • Physically capable of performing routine cleaning duties, including standing, bending, lifting, and moving cleaning equipment.
  • Able to follow instructions, cleaning schedules, and workplace safety procedures.
  • Hardworking, reliable, responsible, and detail-oriented.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine cleaning and housekeeping duties in assigned areas.
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and clean floors, walls, windows, and other surfaces.
  • Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, common areas, offices, facilities, and other designated spaces.
  • Remove waste, empty trash bins, and dispose of garbage properly.
  • Clean and maintain furniture, fixtures, equipment, and other assigned areas.
  • Use cleaning tools, equipment, and products properly and safely.
  • Follow appropriate procedures when handling detergents, disinfectants, and other cleaning chemicals.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the assigned workplace or facility.
  • Inspect assigned areas and identify areas requiring additional cleaning or attention.
  • Perform deep-cleaning tasks as required, including scrubbing, polishing, and stain removal.
  • Clean and properly store cleaning tools and equipment after use.
  • Maintain adequate supplies of cleaning materials and report shortages to the supervisor.
  • Follow established cleaning schedules, instructions, and workplace procedures.
  • Report damaged facilities, maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or other issues to the supervisor.
  • Follow workplace health and safety requirements and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
  • Work cooperatively with supervisors and other staff members to complete cleaning assignments efficiently.
  • Perform other cleaning and housekeeping duties assigned by management.
