FLORIST

Qualifications:

• Male applicants are preferred
• 33 years old and below.
• Creative and detail-oriented with an interest in floral design and arrangement.
• Willing to perform flower preparation, arrangement, packaging, and general florist duties.
• Able to work carefully and efficiently in a fast-paced floral shop or similar environment.
• Good manual dexterity and attention to detail.
• Responsible, hardworking, reliable, and willing to follow workplace instructions.

Responsibilities:

• Create and arrange bouquets, floral arrangements, centerpieces, and decorative flower displays.
• Prepare flowers and foliage by cutting, trimming, cleaning, conditioning, and arranging them properly.
• Select appropriate flowers, colors, greenery, containers, and decorative materials for each arrangement.
• Follow customer specifications, design requirements, and occasion themes when preparing floral arrangements.
• Prepare floral designs for weddings, birthdays, celebrations, corporate events, and other special occasions.
• Maintain the freshness and quality of flowers through proper handling, storage, watering, and temperature control.
• Inspect flowers and plants for freshness, damage, wilting, pests, or other quality issues.
• Remove damaged or wilted flowers and properly maintain floral stocks.
• Use florist tools, cutting equipment, wires, ribbons, floral foam, vases, and other materials safely and correctly.
• Measure, cut, and shape stems and foliage to achieve the required arrangement size and appearance.
• Prepare flowers for display and ensure finished arrangements are clean, attractive, and properly presented.
• Assist customers with selecting suitable flowers and arrangements based on their needs and occasions.
• Keep the floral preparation area, tools, display areas, and storage facilities clean and organized.
• Monitor floral supplies and inform management when flowers, packaging materials, or other supplies need replenishment.
• Assist with packing, wrapping, labeling, and preparing floral orders for delivery or customer pickup.
• Ensure orders are completed accurately and on schedule.
• Follow workplace safety, sanitation, and proper flower-handling procedures.
• Perform other florist and floral shop duties assigned by management.
