CONSTRUCTION PROJECT ENGINEER

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Must be a Professional Licensed Engineer (Passed Board/Professional License Examination).
• Qualified and registered Civil Engineer with at least 3 years of project site management experience.
• Minimum of 3+ years of field experience in commercial, residential, or civil construction projects.
• Professional credentials and certifications are highly preferred.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and other engineering/design software.
• Strong knowledge of project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource management.
• Familiarity with construction methods, building codes, quality standards, and safety regulations.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple construction activities and coordinate with various stakeholders.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and project documentation.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, and manage construction engineering projects from concept through completion.
• Develop project schedules, cost estimates, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
• Supervise daily site operations, subcontractors, suppliers, and labor crews.
• Monitor project progress and ensure work is completed according to schedule and budget.
• Conduct quality inspections to ensure compliance with approved plans, specifications, and building codes.
• Enforce workplace safety standards and promote a zero-accident work environment.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders.
• Prepare project reports, progress updates, technical documentation, and site records.
• Resolve technical issues, construction challenges, and project-related concerns.
• Review engineering drawings, specifications, and contract requirements.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, quality standards, and safety requirements.
• Support project completion, testing, handover, and closeout activities.
