CAS Recruitment Ltd is seeking skilled and detail-oriented Confectioners to work in a food production facility in Cyprus. The role involves preparing, cooking, and decorating a variety of confectionery products while ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and presentation.

CONFECTIONER (FACTORY WORKER)

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in pastry making, confectionery, or a related food production role
• Competent in weighing, mixing, cooking, and shaping ingredients such as sugar, chocolate, nuts, and fruits according to recipes
• Knowledgeable in decorating and finishing techniques including glazing, garnishing, and presentation of candies, cakes, and pastries
• Experience in operating and cleaning equipment such as mixing machines, tempering units, and ovens
• Strong understanding of food safety standards including HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)
• Skilled in monitoring ingredient stock, ordering supplies, ensuring batch consistency, and inspecting finished products
• Ability to develop new recipes and adapt to current trends (e.g., reduced sugar, organic products)
• Strong attention to detail and creativity in product presentation
• Good understanding of ingredient behavior, especially sugar and heat application
• Physically fit and able to stand for long periods and handle heavy equipment
• Excellent English communication skills
• Must have a newly renewed passport

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and produce confectionery products in accordance with standard recipes
• Operate and maintain production machinery safely and efficiently
• Decorate and finish products to meet quality and presentation standards
• Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations
• Monitor inventory levels and assist in stock control
• Inspect products for consistency and quality before distribution
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area
• Collaborate with the team in developing new product ideas

Salary Offer:

• Salary is €979.00 gross monthly, more or less.
• Thirty-Eight (38) Work Hours/5 days per week.
• Two (2) years contract, renewable.
