CAS Recruitment Ltd – Greek Branch is seeking experienced and customer-focused Waiters / Waitresses to join hotels, villas, and hospitality establishments in Greece. The ideal candidates should have strong international or local hospitality experience, excellent customer service skills, good English communication abilities, and the ability to provide efficient and professional food and beverage service in a 5-star environment.
WAITER / WAITRESS
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of proven local and international working experience in a 5-star hotel, villa, or other hospitality establishment.
- Candidates with international waitering experience in international hospitality settings are preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a professional, friendly, and accommodating approach.
- Ability to greet customers courteously and create a welcoming dining experience.
- Good knowledge of menu presentation and the ability to clearly explain dishes, ingredients, specials, and dietary accommodations.
- Competent in using electronic or manual ordering systems for taking and processing customer orders.
- Experience using POS or cashiering systems and handling cash, credit cards, and digital payment methods accurately.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with kitchen and service staff to ensure timely and accurate food and beverage delivery.
- Strong attention to cleanliness, hygiene, organization, and professional presentation.
- Ability to handle customer complaints and service concerns calmly and professionally.
- Good teamwork, communication, interpersonal, and time-management skills.
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospitality environment while maintaining high service standards.
- Willing to perform additional duties such as basic food preparation, serving special customers, maintaining service areas, and handling the cash drawer.
- Physically capable of standing, walking, and carrying food and beverage items throughout the work shift.
- Good English communication skills, both verbal and interpersonal.
- Must have a newly renewed passport.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome and greet guests warmly upon arrival or at the service counter and provide a professional first impression.
- Present menus to customers and explain menu items, daily specials, ingredients, preparation methods, and available dietary accommodations.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using electronic ordering systems, POS systems, or manual ordering procedures.
- Process customer orders promptly and communicate them clearly to the kitchen and beverage service teams.
- Serve food and beverages in a professional, courteous, and accommodating manner.
- Coordinate closely with kitchen staff to ensure orders are prepared correctly and delivered to guests accurately and on time.
- Monitor customer needs throughout the dining experience and provide attentive, responsive, and personalized service.
- Handle customer questions regarding menu items, ingredients, allergens, dietary requirements, and special requests.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper presentation of dining areas, service stations, counters, and other assigned areas.
- Set up and prepare tables, service stations, dining areas, and necessary service equipment before and during operations.
- Handle cash, credit card, and digital payment transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Operate cashiering and point-of-sale systems and maintain accurate transaction records.
- Maintain the cash drawer properly and report any discrepancies to the appropriate supervisor.
- Respond professionally to customer complaints and concerns and take appropriate action to resolve service issues.
- Ensure that customer service standards, hospitality procedures, and company or brand standards are consistently followed.
- Assist with basic food preparation and other service-related duties when required.
- Provide additional assistance for special guests, functions, events, or specific customer requests.
- Maintain proper hygiene, sanitation, and food safety practices throughout all service activities.
- Replenish service supplies and ensure that necessary dining and beverage service items are readily available.
- Work cooperatively with other waiters, kitchen personnel, supervisors, and hospitality staff to maintain smooth operations.
- Perform other duties related to food and beverage service as assigned by management.
Salary Package:
- Salary starts at Php 69,000.00 net monthly.
- Forty-Eight (48) Work Hours per week.
- Accommodation will be provided.
- Seasonal work for six (6) months. Contract renewable for up to 5 years.
