Accurate Infrastructure Solutions Australia Pty. Ltd. is seeking experienced Concreters to carry out concrete construction works for civil, commercial, and infrastructure projects in Australia. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing work areas, placing and finishing concrete, and ensuring all work meets project specifications, quality standards, and workplace safety requirements.
CONCRETER
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience as a Concreter.
- Graduate of a four-year undergraduate course.
- Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and layout plans.
- Experience in concrete placement, finishing, formwork, and reinforcement installation.
- Skilled in the use of concrete finishing tools and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Physically fit and able to perform demanding construction work.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare work sites by setting out, excavating, and installing formwork for concrete placement.
- Measure, mix, pour, spread, and level concrete according to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Finish concrete surfaces using hand and power tools to achieve the required texture and appearance.
- Install reinforcing steel, mesh, and other reinforcement materials before concrete placement.
- Cure concrete using appropriate methods to ensure strength and durability.
- Construct and repair concrete structures such as footpaths, driveways, foundations, slabs, retaining walls, and other civil works.
- Read and interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications.
- Operate and maintain concrete tools, mixers, vibrators, screeds, and finishing equipment.
- Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following workplace health and safety regulations.
- Perform other related duties assigned by supervisors.
