BAKER

Qualifications:

• Must be knowledgeable in different types of breads and pastries.
• Graduate of Culinary Arts, Baking and Pastry Making, or related courses is an advantage.
• Preferably with work experience in hotels, cruise ships, high-end restaurants, or cafés.
• Strong understanding of baking techniques and bakery operations.
• Ability to follow recipes and maintain consistent product quality.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Physically fit and able to work in a kitchen environment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare a variety of breads, pastries, cakes, and baked goods according to standard recipes and production guidelines.
• Ensure proper mixing, proofing, baking, and finishing of bakery products.
• Operate baking equipment such as ovens, mixers, and dough preparation machines safely and efficiently.
• Maintain consistency, quality, and presentation of all baked items.
• Monitor ingredient quantities and ensure proper storage and freshness of supplies.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.
• Assist in developing new bread and pastry products as required.
• Ensure accurate measurement and preparation of ingredients based on recipes.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery area, tools, and equipment.
• Work efficiently to meet production schedules and customer demands.
• Support kitchen team members in daily bakery operations.
