CP Medical Center is seeking an experienced and highly organized Category Manager for deployment to Papua New Guinea. The successful candidate will oversee category management, regulatory compliance, and operational coordination within healthcare or retail pharmacy environments while ensuring adherence to pharmaceutical and health regulations.
CATEGORY MANAGER
Qualifications:
- Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Law, Pharmacy, Health Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in compliance, regulatory affairs, category management, or related roles within healthcare or retail pharmacy industries.
- Strong knowledge of Papua New Guinea health regulations and pharmaceutical standards.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Experience in managing healthcare or pharmaceutical product categories is an advantage.
- Ability to interpret regulatory requirements and ensure operational compliance.
- Proficient in report preparation, documentation, and compliance monitoring.
- Strong leadership and coordination skills with the ability to work across multiple departments.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare or retail environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage healthcare or pharmaceutical product categories to ensure operational efficiency and regulatory compliance.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with Papua New Guinea healthcare laws, pharmaceutical standards, and company policies.
- Coordinate with suppliers, regulatory bodies, and internal departments regarding category management and compliance matters.
- Review policies, procedures, and operational processes to ensure adherence to applicable regulations.
- Conduct compliance assessments, audits, and risk evaluations related to healthcare and pharmacy operations.
- Prepare reports, documentation, and regulatory submissions as required.
- Analyze category performance, inventory, and operational data to support decision-making and business improvements.
- Provide guidance and support to management and staff regarding regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Assist in developing strategies to improve operational standards, customer service, and product management.
- Maintain professional communication with stakeholders and ensure timely resolution of compliance-related concerns.
