Scaffolding Worker (TITP)

Qualifications:

  • Experience in the construction industry is required.
  • Physically strong and capable of performing manual labor, lifting heavy materials, and working at heights.
  • At least a High School Graduate.
  • Willing to undergo FREE 3½-month Japanese Language (Nihongo) Training before deployment.
  • Responsible, disciplined, and committed to completing the Technical Intern Training Program (TITP).
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a multicultural work environment.
  • Willing to follow Japanese workplace rules, safety standards, and employer policies.

Responsibilities:

  • Assemble, install, modify, and dismantle scaffolding systems for residential, commercial, and industrial construction projects.
  • Read and follow construction drawings, work instructions, and supervisor directives to ensure accurate scaffold installation.
  • Inspect scaffolding materials and components before and after installation to ensure safety and structural integrity.
  • Secure scaffolding using braces, platforms, guardrails, ladders, and other safety equipment.
  • Load, unload, transport, and organize scaffolding materials at construction sites.
  • Work safely at elevated heights while following Japanese construction safety standards and company procedures.
  • Assist construction teams by providing safe access platforms for various building and maintenance activities.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized condition.
  • Report damaged equipment, unsafe conditions, or workplace hazards to supervisors immediately.
  • Follow all workplace health, safety, and environmental regulations at all times.
  • Perform other construction-related duties assigned by supervisors.
