Carpenter
Qualifications:
- Install and assemble formwork, framing, flooring, and interior/exterior cladding in accordance with project specifications and quality standards.
- Read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and technical plans to ensure accurate layout and structural alignment.
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and install wood and other building materials using hand and power tools.
- Perform concrete grinding, epoxy grouting, sealing, and repair works to achieve durable and high-quality finishes.
- Install gypsum boards, door frames, window frames, and other carpentry and finishing elements.
- Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with project specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Maintain and safely operate carpentry tools, equipment, and machinery while ensuring a clean and organized work area.
- Coordinate with supervisors and other construction trades to ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
- Identify and resolve construction issues while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship.
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times and contribute to a safe working environment.
Responsibilities:
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a Carpenter in residential, commercial, or industrial construction projects.
- Skilled in installing formwork, framing, flooring, and interior/exterior cladding.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and technical plans to ensure structural accuracy.
- Proficient in measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining wood and other construction materials.
- Experience in concrete grinding, epoxy grouting, concrete sealing, and repair works.
- Competent in installing gypsum boards (drywall), door frames, window frames, and other finishing components.
- Strong knowledge of carpentry tools, equipment, construction techniques, and workplace safety practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail and workmanship quality.
- Physically fit and capable of performing manual tasks in various site conditions.
- Excellent English communication skills are required.
