CAPTAIN WAITER

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience in restaurant or hospitality service operations.
• Candidates must hold a Vocational Diploma or Short Course Certificate in Food and Beverage Preparation/Service Management or related fields.
• Male applicants are preferred for this role.
• Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
• Experience supervising servers and bussers in dining operations.
• Ability to handle guest concerns, complaints, and special requests professionally.
• Knowledgeable in restaurant service standards, dining etiquette, and hospitality procedures.
• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced restaurant environments.
• Professional appearance, calm disposition, and strong organizational skills.
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and workplace operational standards.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise server and busser performance within assigned dining sections during service operations.
• Provide real-time coaching, support, and guidance to restaurant staff.
• Ensure smooth and efficient food and beverage service to guests.
• Handle guest complaints, service issues, and special requests professionally and promptly.
• Communicate guest preferences, concerns, and incident reports to front-of-house managers and kitchen staff.
• Monitor dining area cleanliness, table setup, and service presentation standards.
• Coordinate with kitchen and restaurant teams to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.
• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and hospitality standards.
• Ensure compliance with restaurant policies, food safety, and sanitation procedures.
• Assist management in training and evaluating service staff performance.
