AIMA Construction Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a highly experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee and successfully deliver ongoing construction projects in the Maldives. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to effectively manage multidisciplinary teams and project stakeholders.

CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGER

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 15 years of relevant working experience in construction project management.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering field.
• Male applicants are preferred for this role.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or an equivalent Project Management certification is preferred.
• Proven experience managing large-scale construction projects, multidisciplinary teams, and complex project schedules.
• Strong leadership, team management, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution abilities.
• Proficient in project management and engineering software, including Primavera, Microsoft Project, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Sound knowledge of project budgeting, financial management, and contract administration.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing project requirements.
• Willing to work in the Maldives and comply with company policies and applicable regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee ongoing construction projects, ensuring alignment with the approved project plan, objectives, and contractual requirements.
• Monitor project progress, milestones, and deliverables; identify delays and implement corrective actions to keep projects on schedule.
• Control project budgets, monitor expenditures, and optimize resource utilization to ensure cost efficiency.
• Identify project risks and develop effective mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project delivery.
• Resolve operational and technical challenges proactively, escalating critical issues when necessary.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Maintain strict quality control throughout the project lifecycle and ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
• Ensure compliance with occupational health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements at all project sites.
• Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and progress reviews to verify adherence to contracts, specifications, and company policies.
• Prepare project reports, forecasts, and performance updates for management and clients.
• Lead, motivate, and supervise multidisciplinary project teams to achieve project goals and organizational objectives.
