Footmark Private Limited is seeking physically fit, reliable, and hardworking Labourers (Odd Jobbing) to support various general labor, maintenance, and site-related activities in the Maldives. The successful candidates will assist skilled workers, handle materials and tools, maintain clean and safe work areas, and perform different tasks according to daily operational requirements.

LABOURER (ODD JOBING)

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of relevant work experience is required.
• Must be at least a graduate of a four-year undergraduate course.
• Physically fit and capable of lifting and carrying heavy objects.
• Able to stand, bend, walk, and work on their feet for extended periods.
• Familiar with standard hand tools and basic maintenance methods.
• Able to assist skilled workers such as carpenters, plumbers, painters, and other tradespeople.
• Basic practical skills in general maintenance, material handling, and worksite preparation.
• Good awareness of workplace health and safety requirements.
• Able to recognize and report potential worksite hazards.
• Reliable, punctual, hardworking, and responsible.
• Flexible and willing to switch between different tasks according to operational needs.
• Able to follow instructions accurately and work under supervision.
• Good teamwork and cooperation skills.
• Physically capable of performing repetitive manual tasks in various working conditions.
• Able to handle tools, materials, and equipment carefully and safely.
• Willing to perform general cleaning, housekeeping, maintenance support, and other assigned duties.
• Safety-conscious and committed to following company procedures.
• Able to work effectively with minimal supervision when assigned routine tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Perform general labor and odd-job duties as assigned by supervisors.
• Assist with loading, unloading, lifting, carrying, and moving materials and equipment.
• Transport tools, supplies, construction materials, and other items to designated work areas.
• Assist skilled workers such as carpenters, plumbers, painters, and maintenance personnel.
• Prepare work areas and materials before carpentry, plumbing, painting, or maintenance activities.
• Pass tools, materials, and equipment to skilled workers as required.
• Assist with basic maintenance and repair activities under proper supervision.
• Use standard hand tools safely and appropriately for assigned tasks.
• Help assemble, install, remove, or reposition basic materials and equipment.
• Clean, organize, and prepare work areas before and after assigned activities.
• Collect and dispose of waste, debris, and unused materials properly.
• Assist in moving furniture, equipment, fixtures, and other heavy objects when required.
• Perform basic cleaning and housekeeping duties in work areas, storage areas, and facilities.
• Follow instructions from supervisors and skilled workers carefully.
• Switch between different tasks and work areas according to daily operational requirements.
• Assist with preparation, setup, and dismantling of temporary work areas or equipment.
• Check tools and materials before use and report damaged or defective items.
• Identify and report potential hazards, unsafe conditions, or damaged equipment to supervisors.
• Follow workplace health, safety, and environmental procedures at all times.
• Wear and properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Handle materials and tools carefully to prevent damage, loss, or unnecessary waste.
• Work cooperatively with skilled tradespeople, supervisors, and other workers.
• Maintain punctuality and complete assigned tasks within the required timeframe.
• Perform other general labor, maintenance support, and odd-job duties assigned by management.
