Bus Driver

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience as a Bus Driver.
  • Valid passport with at least 2 years of remaining validity.
  • Technical or Vocational Certificate is an advantage.
  • Basic English communication skills.
  • Excellent driving skills with a strong understanding of road safety regulations.
  • Experience operating buses or other large passenger vehicles.
  • Physically fit and capable of working flexible schedules when required.
  • Responsible, reliable, and customer service-oriented.
  • Strong attention to safety and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate buses while transporting passengers along assigned routes and schedules.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the bus is in safe operating condition.
  • Follow designated routes, traffic laws, and company transportation policies at all times.
  • Ensure the safety and comfort of passengers during boarding, travel, and disembarkation.
  • Monitor vehicle performance and report any mechanical issues, defects, or maintenance requirements.
  • Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the assigned vehicle.
  • Assist passengers with boarding and exiting the bus when necessary, including those with special needs.
  • Keep accurate trip records, mileage logs, fuel consumption, and vehicle inspection reports.
  • Respond calmly and appropriately to emergencies, traffic incidents, or unexpected road conditions.
  • Communicate professionally with passengers, dispatchers, and supervisors.
  • Follow workplace health, safety, and transportation regulations.
  • Perform other transportation-related duties assigned by management.
