Bolt Torquing

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in hydraulic torque machine operations and bolting activities.
  • Knowledge and experience in reading technical specifications and executing bolting procedures.
  • Skilled in tool preparation, equipment setup, calibration, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with quality control procedures and documentation requirements.
  • Previous experience in petrochemical and offshore industries is required.
  • Previous overseas work experience is preferred.
  • Good English communication skills.
  • Must have an updated resume and valid Certificate of Employment (COE).
  • Must possess a valid NC II Certificate.
  • Must have a valid Yellow Fever Vaccination Certificate.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform bolting and torquing operations using hydraulic torque machines and related equipment.
  • Read and interpret technical specifications, torque charts, drawings, and work instructions.
  • Prepare, inspect, and set up hydraulic torquing tools before operations.
  • Calibrate and verify torque equipment to ensure accurate performance.
  • Execute bolting procedures according to approved methods and project requirements.
  • Troubleshoot hydraulic torque tools and resolve operational issues.
  • Ensure proper alignment, tightening sequence, and torque values are achieved.
  • Conduct quality checks and maintain accurate records of completed bolting activities.
  • Complete required documentation, reports, and inspection records.
  • Follow all safety procedures and industry standards while working in industrial environments.
