CPC Engineering Pty Ltd is hiring experienced Boilermaker / Welder Fabricators for construction and industrial maintenance projects in Australia. The company is seeking skilled tradespeople with strong fabrication and welding experience in heavy industrial environments.
This opportunity is ideal for candidates with expertise in repairing and fabricating structural and mechanical components used in mining, construction, and industrial facilities.
Boilermaker / Welder Fabricator
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience as a boilermaker or welder fabricator.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering plans and blueprints.
- Fluent in English communication.
- Experience in industrial fabrication and welding work.
- Must have completed at least 4 years of high school and 1 year of college or vocational training.
- No specific minimum educational attainment required beyond technical competency.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and workshop practices.
Responsibilities:
- Perform boilermaker duties including repair and fabrication of fixed plant, earthmoving, and construction equipment.
- Fabricate structural components such as handrails, vents, platforms, ladders, and related steel structures.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and fabrication plans accurately.
- Carry out welding and fabrication work according to required industry standards.
- Use and maintain workshop tools, equipment, and PPE properly at all times.
- Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with specifications and safety standards.
- Assist in installation, repair, and maintenance of mechanical and structural components.
- Follow workplace safety procedures and industrial fabrication standards.
- Work independently or as part of a fabrication and maintenance team.
- Maintain clean and safe workshop and job site conditions.
