O & M Engineer (PV SCADA / Renewable Engineer – AMC / Service Support)
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Prof’l License (Passed Board/Bar/Prof’l License Exam) holder.
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation Engineering, Computer Engineering, IT, Power Systems, or a related discipline.
- 5–10 years of experience in SCADA, EMS, DMS engineering, commissioning, integration, maintenance, or AMC support.
- Experience supporting live utility SCADA/EMS/DMS systems or renewable energy projects is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with SCADA database configuration, telemetry mapping, displays, alarms, trends, and reporting.
- Experience in communication protocol testing and troubleshooting, including IEC 101, IEC 104, ICCP, DNP3, and Modbus.
- Experience working in transmission, distribution, renewable energy, substations, or control center environments.
- Familiarity with GEV, OSI, Siemens, Hitachi Energy, Schneider, GE, ABB, or similar SCADA/EMS platforms is an advantage.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, documentation, and customer-support skills.
Responsibilities:
- Provide AMC and post-commissioning technical support for PV SCADA, PPC, FFA, EMS, MDM, and DMS systems at renewable energy plants and project sites.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, system health checks, troubleshooting, and periodic technical audits.
- Monitor SCADA system availability, application performance, communication status, alarms, logs, and data flow.
- Troubleshoot SCADA databases, communication systems, telemetry, alarms, trends, displays, and reports.
- Support system stabilization following commissioning and handover to operations.
- Ensure all maintenance and support activities comply with agreed AMC scope, customer requirements, and SLA timelines.
- Perform communication protocol testing and troubleshooting for systems using IEC 101, IEC 104, ICCP, DNP3, Modbus, or similar protocols.
- Coordinate with project teams, site teams, customers, OEMs, IT/OT teams, and engineering teams to resolve technical issues.
- Maintain accurate technical records, database updates, service reports, and maintenance documentation.
- Support reliable operation and high availability of mission-critical control center systems.
