Safco Aluminum Factory Company is seeking an experienced and technically skilled Blacksmith (Aluminum Technician – CNC Operator) to join its team in Kuwait. This opportunity is ideal for aluminum installation professionals with strong knowledge of aluminum profiles, hardware, fixing methods, CNC operations, shop drawings, and precise measurements for doors, windows, curtain walls, cladding, and related systems.

BLACKSMITH (Aluminum Technician – CNC operator)

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience is required; 3–5 years of aluminum installation experience is preferred.
• Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate in Aluminum Fabrication, Metalwork, Machining, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of aluminum profiles, hardware, fittings, fixing methods, and installation techniques.
• Experience installing aluminum doors, windows, curtain walls, cladding, and related systems.
• Experience operating CNC machines for aluminum fabrication is highly preferred.
• Ability to accurately read and interpret shop drawings and fabrication drawings.
• Strong ability to take precise measurements and perform accurate cutting, drilling, machining, alignment, and installation work.
• Knowledge of silicone application, sealing, weatherproofing, and finishing techniques.
• Good understanding of construction site procedures and safe installation practices.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, CNC equipment, and precision measuring instruments.
• Physically fit and capable of performing manual work, lifting materials, and working at heights when required.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, workmanship, and quality.
• Reliable, hardworking, safety-conscious, and able to work effectively with site and fabrication teams.

Responsibilities:

• Install aluminum doors, windows, curtain wall frames, cladding, and related aluminum systems at project sites.
• Operate CNC machinery for cutting, drilling, machining, and fabrication of aluminum components according to approved specifications.
• Prepare and process aluminum profiles and components based on shop drawings, measurements, and production requirements.
• Read and interpret shop drawings, fabrication drawings, measurements, and technical specifications.
• Measure, mark, cut, align, level, drill, and secure aluminum components accurately.
• Ensure aluminum systems are installed according to approved drawings, specifications, dimensions, and quality standards.
• Install aluminum frames, profiles, hardware, fittings, brackets, fasteners, and other related components.
• Perform sealing, silicone application, weatherproofing, and finishing work on installed aluminum systems.
• Make necessary on-site adjustments to ensure proper fit, alignment, operation, and finishing of aluminum components.
• Inspect fabricated and installed components for dimensional accuracy, alignment, quality, and proper functionality.
• Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, contractors, and other construction teams regarding installation requirements and site conditions.
• Report site measurements, material requirements, installation issues, and technical concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
• Maintain and properly use CNC machines, hand tools, power tools, measuring instruments, and installation equipment.
• Perform routine checks and basic maintenance of CNC machinery and other workshop equipment.
• Ensure proper handling, transportation, storage, and protection of aluminum materials and finished components.
• Follow project schedules and complete assigned fabrication and installation tasks within required timelines.
• Maintain a clean and organized workshop and project site.
• Follow workplace safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) during fabrication and installation activities.
• Perform other aluminum fabrication, CNC operation, installation, and construction-related duties assigned by management.
