PRODUCTION ENGINEER (Manufacturing Worker)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering, or a related engineering field.
• At least 5 years of relevant work experience in manufacturing, production engineering, or an industrial environment.
• Knowledgeable in production planning, scheduling, monitoring, and manufacturing process improvement.
• Familiar with IATF 16949 requirements, quality management systems, and manufacturing standards.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes, production equipment, and basic maintenance principles.
• Knowledge of quality, safety, delivery, and cost management objectives.
• Familiarity with structured problem-solving tools, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience in process improvement initiatives, equipment upgrades, or capital expenditure (CAPEX) projects is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, technical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to coordinate with production, quality, maintenance, and other departments to achieve operational targets.

Responsibilities:

• Support and improve manufacturing performance within the assigned production area in alignment with IATF 16949 requirements and company objectives for safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
• Plan, schedule, and monitor daily production activities to meet production targets and delivery deadlines.
• Identify production bottlenecks, operational issues, and process inefficiencies and implement appropriate improvements.
• Monitor production performance indicators and prepare reports on output, productivity, quality, and operational efficiency.
• Analyze production problems using structured problem-solving tools and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Coordinate with quality assurance and maintenance teams to ensure production processes meet established standards.
• Monitor the proper use, operation, and maintenance of production equipment and machinery.
• Support process improvement initiatives to increase productivity, reduce waste, minimize downtime, and improve cost-effectiveness.
• Participate in equipment upgrades, process modifications, and CAPEX projects.
• Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, workplace safety regulations, quality procedures, and company policies.
• Work closely with production personnel to implement process changes and maintain consistent manufacturing performance.
• Recommend improvements to production methods, workflow, equipment utilization, and resource allocation.
