MACHINE TOOL OPERATOR

Qualifications:

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• With relevant work experience in machine operation, manufacturing, or industrial production.
• Knowledgeable in operating machine tools used for cutting, shaping, drilling, grinding, or machining materials.
• Familiar with reading basic technical drawings, measurements, and machine operating instructions.
• Knowledge of machine setup, tool selection, and basic equipment maintenance.
• Ability to use measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and measuring gauges is an advantage.
• Physically fit and capable of performing production-related tasks.
• Hardworking, responsible, detail-oriented, and safety-conscious.
• Ability to follow production specifications, work instructions, and quality standards.
• Willing to work in a manufacturing or industrial environment and cooperate with other production personnel.

Responsibilities:

• Operate machine tools and equipment to cut, shape, drill, grind, or process materials according to production specifications.
• Set up machines by selecting and installing the appropriate tools, attachments, and materials.
• Read and follow technical drawings, work orders, measurements, and machine operating instructions.
• Monitor machine operations and adjust settings as necessary to maintain product accuracy and quality.
• Inspect finished components using measuring instruments and checking tools.
• Identify machine malfunctions, irregular operations, or product defects and report them to the supervisor.
• Perform routine cleaning, lubrication, and basic maintenance of machines and equipment.
• Replace worn or damaged cutting tools and machine components as instructed.
• Maintain accurate production records and report completed work when required.
• Follow workplace safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and free from potential hazards.
• Coordinate with supervisors and fellow workers to meet production targets and deadlines.
