FERTILITY SPECIALIST DOCTOR

Qualifications:

• Holds a valid professional medical license and has passed the required board or professional licensing examination.
• At least 2 years of specialized training or clinical experience in In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) and reproductive medicine.
• With relevant experience in fertility evaluation, assisted reproductive technologies (ART), and infertility management.
• Knowledgeable in reproductive endocrinology, hormonal testing, ultrasound assessment, and fertility diagnostic procedures.
• Skilled in developing individualized IVF treatment plans based on patient medical history, diagnostic findings, and evidence-based reproductive protocols.
• Experienced in monitoring ovarian stimulation and performing or assisting with IVF-related procedures, including egg retrieval and embryo transfer, as appropriate to professional credentials and training.
• Excellent patient counseling, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with embryologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Demonstrates professionalism, compassion, confidentiality, and sound clinical judgment.
• Willing to comply with Oman’s medical licensing, credentialing, and employment requirements.
• Female applicants are preferred for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive fertility evaluations and assessments to determine the possible causes of infertility.
• Review patients’ medical histories and order or interpret appropriate hormonal tests, ultrasound examinations, and other diagnostic procedures.
• Develop personalized fertility treatment plans, including IVF protocols, based on individual patient needs and clinical findings.
• Monitor patients undergoing ovarian stimulation and assess their response to prescribed fertility medications.
• Perform IVF-related clinical procedures, including egg retrieval and embryo transfer, within the scope of professional qualifications and authorization.
• Provide counseling and education regarding fertility treatment options, procedures, potential risks, expected outcomes, and success probabilities.
• Monitor patients throughout treatment cycles and manage or refer complications when necessary.
• Coordinate with embryologists and laboratory personnel to ensure proper timing, treatment accuracy, and quality of care.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, treatment plans, and clinical documentation.
• Follow established clinical protocols, infection control procedures, medical ethics, and patient safety standards.
• Keep updated on developments in reproductive medicine, IVF techniques, and evidence-based fertility treatment practices.
