REGISTERED MIDWIFE

Qualifications:

• Graduate of a recognized Midwifery program.
• Holds a valid Registered Midwife license issued by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).
• At least 2 years of work experience as a Registered Midwife after obtaining the PRC license.
• Applicants with or without DataFlow verification and Prometric examination results are welcome, subject to employer and Saudi licensing requirements.
• Former Saudi-based applicants with a valid Saudi professional license are welcome to apply.
• Employment gap should not exceed 6 months.
• Knowledgeable in maternal and newborn care, patient assessment, vital signs monitoring, and basic emergency response.
• Skilled in monitoring patients’ conditions, administering prescribed medications, and documenting clinical observations.
• Familiar with catheter insertion and removal and other nursing or midwifery procedures within the scope of professional practice.
• Good communication, interpersonal, and patient-care skills.
• Compassionate, responsible, professional, and able to work effectively under pressure.
• Female applicants are preferred for this role.
• Willing to comply with Saudi Arabia’s professional licensing, credentialing, and employment requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Provide midwifery care and support to women during pregnancy, labor, childbirth, and the postnatal period.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and other relevant clinical readings to assess their health conditions.
• Conduct patient assessments and document symptoms, medical history, medication reactions, and progress.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and established clinical protocols.
• Assist with catheter insertion and removal and perform other authorized clinical procedures within professional scope.
• Monitor maternal and newborn health and promptly report any complications or unusual findings.
• Provide immediate assistance during emergencies and carry out appropriate life-saving interventions within the scope of training and authorization.
• Educate mothers and families on prenatal care, childbirth preparation, breastfeeding, newborn care, and postnatal recovery.
• Maintain accurate and updated patient records, treatment documentation, and clinical reports.
• Coordinate with obstetricians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe and continuous patient care.
• Follow infection prevention and control procedures, patient safety standards, and hospital policies.
