BATCH PLANT ELECTRICIAN

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience.
  • No formal educational requirement; practical experience is essential.
  • Male applicants preferred.
  • Skilled in conducting routine inspections, testing conductivity, and maintaining repair logs.
  • Knowledge of industrial electrical systems, electromechanical equipment, and preventive maintenance practices.
  • Ability to work under pressure and respond to emergency repairs effectively.

Responsibilities:

  • System Maintenance & Repair: Perform scheduled and emergency repairs on electrical control systems, wiring, and high-voltage lighting throughout the batch plant.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections of electromechanical components, including weighing scales, conveyors, and control panels, to prevent downtime.
  • Installation & Retrofitting: Install new electrical harnesses, conduits, and machinery during plant setup, retrofitting, or upgrades, following technical blueprints and local electrical codes.
  • Testing & Diagnostics: Test electrical circuits, conductivity, and components using multimeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain repair logs, maintenance schedules, and documentation to track plant electrical system performance and repairs.
  • Safety Compliance: Follow all safety procedures and electrical standards to ensure a secure work environment.
